Architectural exhibition “Architectural symbiosis between man and nature ” reveals new perspectives of defining and analyzing the identity of Lithuanian architecture. Visionary works by Aistė Ambrazevičiūtė and Jurgis Gečys, graduates from the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, explores wooden architecture, lichen structures and cultural landscapes. In their unifying architectural expression, the projects convey symbiosis between the characteristics of the area, materiality and cultural identity. Although the projects radically differ in their design language, both authors explore parallels between preservation and innovation, past and future technologies and natural and artificial materials. The exhibited works present an original approach to the changing specialty of architecture and interdisciplinary exchanges of developing creative projects and fostering geographical differences, history and local characteristics. The exhibition consists of contrasting objects: plaster and wood models, sculptures, drawings, visualizations, large-format analog photographs and projections
